Frequently Asked Questions

Does getting a tattoo hurt?

Yes, tattooing involves needles piercing the skin, so there is some pain. However, it's generally described as a scratching or vibrating sensation. The level of pain depends heavily on your pain tolerance and the placement of the tattoo (ribs, hands, and feet tend to hurt more than outer arms or thighs).

How should I prepare for my session?

Get a good night's sleep, eat a solid meal before coming in, and stay hydrated. Do not consume alcohol or blood-thinning painkillers (like aspirin) 24 hours prior. Wear comfortable clothes that allow easy access to the area being tattooed.

What is the healing process like?

Tattoos typically take 2-3 weeks to heal on the surface, and up to a few months fully. You will need to keep it clean, moisturize it lightly, and avoid sun exposure, swimming, and picking at scabs. I will provide detailed aftercare instructions at the end of your session.

What is your booking policy?

To secure an appointment, a non-refundable deposit is required. This deposit goes towards the final price of the tattoo. Cancellations or reschedules require a minimum of 48 hours notice, otherwise the deposit may be forfeited.
